HAIRCUTS
Before deciding on a haircut for your dog, consider the following points on short haircuts or maintaining long hair.
Full Coats & Long Hair
Some customers want to maintain their dogs long hair or a full coat, and customers with this preference need to consider the extra work and time these full coats require. The long hair and full coats usually consist of:
- Matting, tangling and buildup of undercoat - this leads to more maintenance in order to keep the length. The owner needs to dilligently and regularly comb the dog between cuts to prevent matting and tangling.
- Higher grooming costs - because of increased matting and tangling, the grooming costs will usually be more because of the time spent de-tangling the coat.
- More haircuts required - to maintain the dog's haircut, they need to be groomed every 4 to 5 weeks. The owner should ask the groomer about our maintenance plan which consists of weekly brushing, bi-weekly bathing, and monthly grooming. This plan is a great way to maintain the long flowing coat of a ShihTzu or Yorkie.
Short Body Cuts
For the customer that likes the short body cut with a nicely scissored head, there are many advantages of maintaining this cut.
- These haircuts require less maintenance, if done every 5 to 6 weeks. The shorter hair leads to less undercoat, less tangles and fewer mats. Less shedding even with dogs who are naturally short haired, like labs can be cut shorter.
- Short cuts result in less mess when the dog gets wet or plays in the grass.

Includes shave down (complete hair removal) bath with medicated or flea shampoo of your choice, conditioner, dry, toe nail trimming, ear cleaning, fragrance, bow or bandana.
B. STYLE CUT GROOM:
Includes the breed style cut or owner's personal choice, shampoo, conditioner, dry, brush out, toe nail trimming, scissoring, ear cleaning, fragrance, bow or bandana.
C. FURMINATOR SHED-LESS TREATMENT:
Low-shed shampoo followed by an application of de shedding solution plus brushing with the Furminator tool.
D. PREMIUM GROOMING:
Customer requested haircut, shampoo, conditioner, dry, toe nail trimming, ear cleaning, scissoring, brush out, anal gland checked, and dematting or clipper work.

E. PAMPERED WORKS GROOMING:
Customer requested haircut, shampoo, leave in conditioner, dry, toe nail trimming, ear cleaning, scissoring, brush out, toothbrush service, anal gland checked, bow and or fragrance.
